Or whether they chose the right actor to play RCB
Tale
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham, who have a long-running rivalry that comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books so I can’t comment on how accurate it is.
And great escape
However, I can say that I really enjoyed this show and I really hope it gets a second series. It’s a little on the cheesy side. But it makes for great television. I managed to watch the whole thing in 2 days.
I wish there were more episodes
However, it’s good that I’m not dragging it out too much. David Tennant is great, as usual. But I was actually more surprised at how good Danny Dyer was. I’ve seen him in a few things.
But he was brilliant
(Who didn’t) And I was a little skeptical to see him in this. There are so many characters that I just love and some that I loved to hate. Too many to mention. I highly recommend it.
